STUDIO INTRODUCTION
Jinwei Piano Studio is a private piano studio based in the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. area, founded by pianist, educator, and artistic director Jinwei Zhang.
The studio combines performance experience, technical training, and artistic mentorship in a supportive and focused environment.

Lessons are designed not only to build strong piano skills, but also to cultivate creativity, listening, discipline, and confidence through music.
Students are encouraged to develop both musical understanding and individual artistic identity through long-term study and performance experience.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Dr. Jinwei Zhang is a pianist and educator based in the Washington, D.C. area with over 10 years of teaching experience. His students have received awards in regional and international piano competitions, and his teaching has been recognized through multiple Outstanding Teacher awards.
His teaching focuses on building strong technical foundations, musical understanding, confidence, and artistic individuality in a warm and supportive environment. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, level, and learning style, with an emphasis on long-term musical growth and performance experience.
